1. Start: Blank Document or Template?

Launch the program. This time, in the 'Startup Wizard' we choose the bold path of creativity — click 'Start from a Blank Document'.

By the way: If you are in a hurry, you can always choose 'Start from a Template' and find ready-made layouts in the 'Holiday' category. But today, we are making magic with our own hands!

In the document settings, specify the size. For a classic card, the format 5 x 7 inches (13 x 18 cm / 127 x 178 mm). The most common standard, fitting into an A7 envelope (5.25 x 7.25 inches).

2. Background & Your Photo

A white sheet is boring. Go to the 'Properties' panel and select 'Background'. Use a 'Gradient' to create a smooth transition from soft pink to white.

Now for the most important part — your photo. Click the Insert > Image menu and upload a favorite photo of you as a couple. Place it in the center or in the heart for example.

Designer Tip: To make the photo blend softly into the design, try reducing the Opacity to 80-90% in the image settings or add a soft border.

3. Decoration: Hearts & Effects

Time to add some romance! Click Insert > Clipart. In the program library, select the 'Love' or 'Valentines day' category.

Add several hearts of different sizes. To make them look professional, apply effects in the properties panel:

  • Shadow: Adds depth, making the hearts look like they are floating above the photo.
  • 🌫️ Opacity: Make background hearts semi-transparent (30-50%) so they don't cover faces.

4. Text & "To/From" Form

A card needs to be addressed. Use the Insert > Text tool.

  1. Add a large headline, for example, 'Together Forever'. Choose a beautiful handwriting font.
  2. Create a fill-in form. Add two smaller text blocks:
    • To: (Name of your loved one)
    • From: (Your name)

Apply the same color to the text as the decor elements for harmony.

5. Print & Present

Check if all elements are in place. Click the 'Print' button.

Use thick paper. After printing, if you want to add an even more 'hand-made' effect, you can handwrite the date or glue on a real ribbon.

A: Yes! In RonyaSoft Poster Designer, simply select File > Export as Image (JPG or PNG). This is perfect for sharing your romantic greeting on Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp if you are not together physically.
Q: Which fonts work best for Valentine's cards?
A: We recommend script (handwritten) fonts, such as Great Vibes, Lobster, or Pacifico. They add elegance and intimacy.
Q: How to make text readable on a busy background?
A: Use the Outline or Shadow effect for the text. You can also place a semi-transparent shape (rectangle or oval) underneath the text block to improve contrast.
