How to print a Microsoft Word document?

To print data from Word and other standard Windows applications, you should copy it to ProPoster first.

Do the following for that:

  • Open the corresponding application.
  • Select the part of the document you need with the cursor.
  • Copy it to the clipboard.
  • Paste it to the ProPoster.

If I select format A1, there are unnecessary pages. How to remove them?

To print posters of standard formats (A0, A1, A2), switch to the "Automatic page orientation" mode, set the "Adjustment mode" to "Inside" and clear the "Keep image aspect ratio" checkbox.

Is it possible to add my own poster size templates?

Yes, it is. To do it, open the file "templates.txt" located in the program folder. Follow the instructions in the file.

The poster has large granularity. Is it possible to improve its quality?

Yes, it is. To do it, reduce the poster size or increase the image size (dimensions) using an external application.

Note: Use "PhotoShop", "GenuineFractals" or other similar applications for the optimized increase the image size.

In case of vector images (those pasted from "Word", "Excel", metafiles), it is possible to increase the poster size many times without any loss of quality.

What to do if part of the image on each page is cropped while being printed?

If part of the image is cropped, it means that "Page margins" are set incorrectly. To avoid this, Calibrate page margins and set the correct values.
